Lesson: The Unexpected Path

My visit to the Samsung Semiconductor campus in San Jose was a reminder of the unexpected twists and turns that life can take. Growing up near the campus, I never imagined that I would one day be returning there to discuss their expansion to Austin. This experience highlights the importance of keeping your doors open to new opportunities, covering as much surface area in life as possible, and embracing the unknown.

Insight:  The Power of Surface Area

The more experiences you have and the more people you meet, the greater your chances of discovering new paths and opportunities. This is why it's so important to be open to new experiences, even if they seem unfamiliar or uncomfortable. By expanding your surface area, you increase your exposure to different perspectives, ideas, and networks, which can lead to unexpected breakthroughs and innovations.
